Kommentare: I truly like the way you can customize it to be whatever you need it to be. You want it to pull up a menu or take you to check out from your dinning experience or soon to by checking you out the grocery stores.

Vorteile:

I used this software myself for a popup shop over the summer, It worked extremely well for payment & it's a software assistant. I have recommended my office add one on the back of card for patient feed back, convenient for the patient to leave a google review.

Nachteile:

Right now I don't have any cons, it has worked well every time I've needed to use one.

BE AWARE: "Trial" means the QR Code will quit working in 14 days

Kommentare: I am NOT paying a full year's subscription for a single use QR Code.

Vorteile:

Super easy to create high quality QR Code.

Nachteile:

Had NO clue a QR Code could break. Used once to create link to our kids' baby shower invite. Two weeks later, nephew said the code didn't work.

QR Code Generator is deceptive

Kommentare: I second the fact that QR Code Generator is highly deceptive. Save yourself time and find your QR another way (through Chrome share or another service). I refused to be forced to pay to keep my QR code valid, so I created little stickers showing my new (free) QR code and went back to all the same places that I posted my event flyers and updated them. It was a big hassle that cost me 5+ hours but I don't support deceptive businesses.

Vorteile:

Easy to create a code. That's it. Nothing else to like about them.

Nachteile:

I HATE this company because they didn't make it clear that I had to pay to keep my code active past the two week trial.

Avoid this one, there are much better and safer options.

Vorteile:

Did what it was supposed to, nothing more, nothing less.

Nachteile:

We used this company for a single QR code last year and had to enroll into an annual plan in order to do so. The QR code was used over a 2-day period at a tradeshow. The remainder of the last 363 days, it was never used. A year later, they charged our credit card for another $100 something dollars without notice, although the account was clearly dormant. When I reached out to them 2 days later to get the account deactivated and to a get refund their response was: "Like other subscription providers, we incur ongoing costs related to your accounts, regardless of its actual usage. Therefore, the subscription needs to be cancelled before the renewal date. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we are unfortunately unable to issue a refund." In short, we paid for 2 years worth of this tool to use during 2 days. As an agency, we use dozens of subscription tools and have had times where we forget to cancel an auto-renewal but this is the first time that a company refuses to issue even a partial refund.

Nice Customization but too expensive

Vorteile:

I liked it a lot that I could create stunning QR codes in different styles as well as colors. Also it was a streamlined process from beginning to end which is very user friendly. Also the interface of the backend was very good.

Nachteile:

I don’t like that you have to have a really expensive paid subscription to create a lot of different codes. Also the inability to not add your custom domain in the lowest tier is not really nice.

Scammers No Real Free Trial

Kommentare: Horrible customer service
Rigid in their responses claiming they are not trying to back you into paying for trying their product.

Vorteile:

Easy to use BUT back they you into a corner with requiring w purchase.

Nachteile:

You do not have rights to your QR code made during a free trial. They disable it after the 7 days and then when you have it printed tells you have to activate by purchasing an annual subscription (almost 200 dollars). When I asked for a refund They refused and said “they’re clear in the terms and conditions that the free trial QR code will no longer be active if you don’t pay” so there’s nothing really free about their free trial.

No refunds

None. Nothing special and plenty of better options for much cheaper. Do not use this company.

Nachteile:

They charge you an annual fee and will not give you a refund if you don't cancel before the renewal. Never had this issue with a software company.

Unethical. Used to be great, now a cash grab.

Kommentare: Total disappointment. I will be looking for a new provider because I simply cannot trust them to do anything honestly.

Vorteile:

I have used this for years. I like making the custom codes and that they are dynamic.

Nachteile:

Once they were acquired by their current owner, all the old promises went out the window. It's gotten more costly and less service ever since. Now they just randomly change the terms of your agreements in the middle of the period you've already paid for.

Scam scam scam

They say it's free to create a QR code then after you create it and have it printed on your items they tell you it expires. I went online to purchase the basic plan being that I had already distributed my material and instead of charging me $15 for the basic plan they charged my car to $190. No way to contact them on the website other than through a bot. This website is a scam stay away

SCAM! DO NOT USE! Find ANOTHER company for QR codes!

Vorteile:

I was able to generate 2 QR codes and they allowed tracking of clicks.

Nachteile:

If you use the free account, BEWARE! They have two types of QR codes: dynamic and static. Static will exist forever, even when your free trial expires. THESE ARE NOT THE QR CODES YOU WILL MAKE! Dynamic QR codes are the ones created and they will expire after your trial does. You will be forced to pay for an annual account if you need to keep the QR codes (as I did, printed on product!). They don't bill monthly NOR they don't convert the types of QR codes. Expect to pay $119 minimum to keep your QR codes!

Worst Customer Service Ever!

Kommentare: I have been trying for over a week to get help in upgrading my account. I paid for it and on my account website, it says I upgraded, but I don't have access to add more dynamic codes. I have been emailing back and forth and all I get is "our engineers are working on it". Really? It takes more than a week to flip a switch and upgrade my account - that I already paid for!

It was great if you just pick a plan and stick with it.

Nachteile:

Customer Service - basically non-existent.

FREE QR CODE IS NOT FREE

NONE "FREE" QR CODE IS TEMPORARY AND EXPIRES QUICKLY

Nachteile:

Free QR code will expire quickly if you dont pay huge annual fee! Dont use it, there are better options for free, including making QR codes using chrome for websites. $120 fee for 2 QR codes is not necessary for most users.

My experience with QR Generator

Great generator for static QR codes

Kommentare: Great interface, but I would be cautious about using the dynamic QR codes.

Vorteile:

This program works great for creating customized QR codes with your logo embedded within the qr code. I use this to create branded QR codes. It's so simple and has a great user interface.

Nachteile:

The dynamic QR codes are not that great because if you cancel your subscription the qr codes will no longer work. If you pay for the subscription, the dynamic QR code should become static when you cancel.

Great QR Code Generator with a couple quips

Kommentare: Great program and has the best static QR codes out there.

Vorteile:

This QR code has been great for us to share links for surveys, general information, and quizzes. We were impressed with the ability to add our logo to our QR codes. The software is easy to use and provides an easy way generate responses.

Nachteile:

The paid features are not that useful because if you cancel your subscription the dynamic links no longer work.

Easy and effective

Vorteile:

On a last minute basis we needed QR codes generated for a couple of marketing uses in conjunction with an upcoming conference we were attending. QR Code Generator fit the bill because it was very easy to use, took no real time to set anything up because they provide links for several usage types. Overall it we were happy with the outcome.

Nachteile:

The biggest con is that if you want to continue using the product you have to sign up for a yearly plan, no other options. We tried contacting customer service to see if we could work out something since we now have our codes created with them but they were rigid in their stance. For our purposes, having to pay for a year of usage for something we will use infrequently just doesn't make sense.

Much better than other programs.

Kommentare: This has really helped us send invoices to pay via a QR code, and its been really helpful to send links to our catalogs via QR code.

It's just so easy to get the QR codes made, and its really awesome to see all the analytics attached to the dynamic QR codes.

Nachteile:

I wish I was able to upload multiple URL's at once, ie. more than 200 to generate all the QR codes at once.

I wouldn't even lie, there isn't anything I like the least about this app.
