Kommentare: Overall, we are happy with the features Keynote offeres, especially since it is included for free with all Apple products. Keynote is easy to use, allows us to export files for viewing in PowerPoint, and has solid presentation features.

Vorteile:

The biggest advantage to Keynote is the fact that it is native to Apple products and is included with them at purchase, something Microsoft does not do with its Office suite by default. The biggest strnght of Keynote is that it is already there and avaiable for use by our team.

Nachteile:

Keynote lacks some of the deeper features that MS PowerPoint and Google Slides do, including sharing and collaboration tools. While the lack of these is a bit inconvenient, our team still uses Keynote on a pretty regular basis.

Much better design options than PowerPoint

Kommentare: Overall I love using Keynote. Most of my coworkers have PCs and use PowerPoint. My projects always have that extra bit of flair and I love the amazing built in templates as well as the hundreds of options available in Toolbox for iWork.

Vorteile:

I love that Keynote has almost all the design features available in Pages. If you have used Pages, it is easy to apply all the beautiful options to your projects. Not only is this software free for Mac users, but it has much better templates and design options than PowerPoint as well.

Nachteile:

There are a few date migration or integration options that PowerPoint has that Keynote doesn't have, but I in all my years using Keynote I have only had one project that I could accomplish with this software. Recent updates have added more date merge options that I am excited to try when I have a project that needs them. There are occasional design options that don't export well when I have to convert my Keynote presentation to a PowerPoint file, but it is getting better and I have learned which features not to use if I know I will have to create a PowerPoint version to share with coworkers.

Great app for collaboration and presentations

Kommentare: I have used this app to create presentations and collaborate with other team members for live events. I know it has more functionality and still want to explore.

Vorteile:

It's a really collaborative and compatible tool for building presentations and delivering live events.

Nachteile:

It can be a little cumbersome if others are not familiar with this type of product there is a learning curve and it might stifle collaboration.

Clean UI easier to use than Powerpoint but the templates are overly complicated

Vorteile:

The UI of Keynote is more streamlined than Powerpoint in my view. Its less cluttered and quicker to navigate.

Nachteile:

Keynote falls down due to a lack of good templates, sure some of them look nice and are very artistic but it would be better if they had more ones using simple fonts and simple colour schemes so that they can be modified more quickly to match my brands fonts, colours and styling.

Keynote: one solution for all your presentations

Kommentare: However, my total experience as a designer for 10 years is very positive: for all my presentations I always rely on Keynote, because it halves any of my working time and always manages to give me new ideas with all its tools.

Vorteile:

If you too never know where to start for your slide presentations from today you can worry no more, Keynote takes care of it!Templates, guides, animations: with Keynote anyone can make beautiful and functional presentations, it is a thousand steps ahead of all other presentation programs with its always fresh and cool templates.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately there are few templates available and the interface is not so intuitive, only by really using the software a lot will you know how to find all the features, otherwise some things are so hidden that you think it doesn't have them.

Royal history review of Keynote

Kommentare: If you are a Mac owner, there is no other choice. I use it every month and love it, even if it has starting to look outdated and doesn't receive yearly changes.

Vorteile:

How easy to use it is. incredibly simple to make different slides, position photographs, and add details. My area of weakness is creating graphics, but I can also make posters with Keynote. Even though I've only recently started using Canva, Keynote still feels more natural to me.

Nachteile:

If it included more styles and templates, that would be fantastic. Although the PowerPoint template I bought fits well with Keynote, I would prefer to have more default templates available when I create a new file.

Simply the best presentation package.

Kommentare: Keynote has made creating presentations an effortless process. I would not trade it for any other presentation product.

I love how easy Keynote is to use. It allows me to focus on my presentation and not on figuring out the software.

Nachteile:

I always have to save my gorgeous Keynote presentation as a Powerpoint because the venue I am presenting at doesn't support Keynote.

I'm a big fan of Keynote. I think it's the easiest application to create beautiful presentations. It has a lot of features that can make my life easier. For example, Keynote allows me to embed videos and photos into my slides. I can even record myself presenting the slide show and then, I can send the link to my clients.

Nachteile:

Native templates are a bit poor, but you can find awesome ones on the net.

Worth using for presentations

Kommentare: Overall, happy with its capabilities and I use every other week or so for building content for advertising.

Vorteile:

ease of onboarding. its almost identical to powerpoint, and you can 'edit mask' which means you can easily remove the background or foreground.

Nachteile:

some animations you cannot do but yo can in powerpoint, and when you save a presentation it is not simple to shrink the size of the whole file.

Vorteile:

A great free solution that rivals Microsoft PowerPoint really well. A great selection of templates to start with too!

Nachteile:

Not the easiest to navigate as a beginner but it works well once you get used to it.

Powerful presentation tool!

Kommentare: It's a great tool to work and collaborate.

Vorteile:

As many Apple software solutions the user interfase is very intuitive and allows people get done fast with their presentations.The feature that we love most is online collaboration because it allows several people to work on the same presentation so you don't have to share the file over and over by email getting to the perfect presentation.

Nachteile:

It only work in Apple devices, but if you have one you are wasting money by using other software.

Keynote

Kommentare: We use Keynote often in our environment. I came from a PowerPoint world and was able to adapt to Keynote fairly quickly. Being a MAC School, I love having a product that I can use without having to pay for PowerPoint

This is an easy software to learn. Ports over easily from PowerPoint. I love the drag and drop features

Nachteile:

I don't see many Cons with this software once you get past the learning stage

Keynote... and nothing else

Kommentare: Although Powerpoint has improved a lot over the years, it still hasn't caught up with Keynote.

Vorteile:

It is the best presentations software out there, period.I've been a Windows user all my life, until I tried Keynote. Yes, Keynote was the main reason why I switched to Mac. It has a fantastic user interface, it is really easy to do almost anything you need to do with a presentation, very clever the way many tools have been designed.The way you work with shapes, how easy it is to apply effects... it makes Keynote a wonderful tool.

Nachteile:

No cons, perhaps the main one is that it only comes with Mac. But if you do own a Mac, it comes for free, that's the good news!

Free presentation app if you got a Mac or iPad

Kommentare: The best part about the Keynote is that you can present from your phone if you suddenly forgot the laptop at home. It happened to me one time and I didn't panic because I knew that I would have access from my phone.

Vorteile:

The best part of this app is that if you have a Macbook or any other apple device such as iPad Air or Pro, you can use it with no cost at all. And it has all the features you'll find in the powerpoint.

Nachteile:

Unfortunately, there is not enough fonts available. I wish it had more fonts available so that I can customize the text.

Simple and practical!

Kommentare: Is practical and very intuitive, you can have all your thougths in the palm of your hand.

I love the fact that I have easy access to an app that keeps my notes in order, where I can edit or upgrade new data.

Nachteile:

IOS's apps not always are useful when you used in microsoft software.

Keynote sings a high note

Kommentare: It’s had it’s frustrating moments.

Vorteile:

It was easy to integrate with other Mac devices. Being able to upload videos and images fairly hassle free has helped my non-profit quite a lot.

Nachteile:

I don’t like that I can’t copy and paste from PowerPoint or Google slides into Keynote. It’s basically Keynote or nothing.

Vorteile:

This software proved to be an easy to use and efficient platform to create content for presentations. Notes, images and audio are easy to be added. It provides cool animations and smooth transitions.

Nachteile:

No noteworthy issues have been identified so far.

Best visual presentations software

Kommentare: KeyNote allows me to have unlimited creativity both on video editing and Graphic Design

I thing KeyNote takes the cup mostly on visual side on presentation software: - The user interface is not intimidating it is user friendly and it is easy to navigate and search for tools. - The 3D chart animation makes an impressive presentation. - The animation tools such as building, actions and built out, multiple objects, motion paths, magic move produce an engaging content from 2D motion graphic to customized Gif cards or Gif posts. - The software has amazing preset templates for different type of presentations. - Background image removal tool saves time instead of taking image to professional photo software first.

Nachteile:

- The keynote is only accessible to Mac users. - The KeyNote limits on exporting file types compared to its competitor's softwares.

Incredible animations

Vorteile:

You can achieve the best quality animated presentation with this “entry level” software. Using the transitions, animations plugins and tools you can obtain amazing results

Nachteile:

Is hard to use it out of IOS enviroment. You will have many troubles exporting this file to a .ppt and using it in a PC. If your presentation will be not showed in a Mac, please don’t use it

I've been using Keynote for a couple of years now and it's a fantastic software to create flawless presentations. It offers a huge variety of templates, allowing you to customize your presentation in any way possible. Not only does it offer beautiful templates to help you create professional presentations, but it also has great features, such as making your slides interactive and linking them to your audio files. I can't recommend this software enough!

Nachteile:

It should be accessible on devices other than Apple.

Alternative to MS Powerpoint

Vorteile:

This software is easy to use, pretty much similar to MS PPT which everyone has been using forever. I prefer the templates offered by this software

Nachteile:

As much as I like it, I tend to choose my presentation go to apps - powerpoint or canva online, simply because of being so used to them. There's nothing really to criticise from a user point of view.

Tools for success

Kommentare: I definitely have received multiple. A+ reports grades from using Kino to visually represent myself, and I must say I love the software.

I actually use the software quite frequently when I was in school to make projects for classes where I could visually presenting on stage with lighting in

I hated the fact that I didn’t really get most of the good features that I ended up using until they redid the design overhaul and made it look better
