My JBoard Experience Has Blown Me Away

Kommentare: I think being new to this space and despite planning for months before launch, I didn't research the tech in its space and went for the industry OG. All credit to SJB; they are great, but in my opinion, JBoard is better, and I wish I had started here.

Vorteile:

My first impressions of JBoard have blown me away. I moved across from Smart Job Board, and my user experience is far less complicated. The back end is quick and easy to use—very simple. There are some features that SJB doesn't have, and the cost is less, which is always a win. Since joining the support staff, I have been fantastic. The wait time for my daft questions is minimal; I always answer with detail, and nothing is too much trouble. They do go above and beyond.

Nachteile:

I haven't found anything I don't like about JBoard yet, but I am still new to the platform. There are a few features that I wish I had, but the planned new drag-and-drop release will alleviate that and give me more custom opportunities.

Great product and fantastic service / support

Kommentare: The customer service and support is knowledgeable and friendly.

Vorteile:

The product is great; however, it's really the customer service and support that sets JBoard appart. Also, JBoard isn't complacent or stagnant like many of their competitors. They are working aggressively to improve and enhance the product.

Nachteile:

Additional customization capabilities would be nice, but from what I understand, this is coming very soon.

Warum JBoard gewählt wurde: The customer service and support at JobBoard.io is horrible. JobBoard.io's product is antiquated and is rarely (if ever) updated or improved upon. JBoard on the other hand is the opposite.

Kommentare: Overall experience is Good. I think JBoard is very good value for money but needs further development to make it more user friendly especially around expiring jobs.

Vorteile:

Having used JBoard for the last four months we have enjoyed using the job posting feature for clients and being able to provide them with this service.

Nachteile:

Jboard has a funny way of expiring jobs. Instead of selecting a date for job post to end you have to calculate the days required. Very painful at times.

Solid Platform, best Customer Service with Great Potential for Enhanced Flexibility and Analytics

Vorteile:

JBoard is a solid product with an intuitive interface, making it easy to use without needing deep technical expertise. I especially appreciate the clean UI and the speed with which pages load. The API integration and comprehensive documentation have been instrumental in customizing my board's backend, and the auto-importer is a real time-saver. Their customer service is also exceptional—fast, responsive, and always helpful, and was one of the things that made choose them. Integration with Stripe is seamless and has been crucial for monetizing my job board.

Nachteile:

While JBoard is easy to use, I wish there was more flexibility in customizing workflows—especially with the purchasing flow for posts, but I think the new no code launch will address this. Additionally, the dashboard could use improvement. It lacks the ability to track historical data, making it difficult to visualize growth trends over time. It would be extremely helpful to see metrics like job post performance between days, months, or other custom time periods. The tag-adding process is also a bit clunky, requiring manual clicks to add each new tag, which disrupts the workflow.

Best customer service I've ever experienced

Very easy to use and intuitive. Great monetization and customization options. Their customer service is out of the world which is one of the main reasons I chose Jboard over their competition.

Nachteile:

There's so many options! This is really a good thing but it's bad because I get sucked in :)

Vorteile:

Working with the Bedros, Lucas, and the JBoard team has been a great experience. They are dedicated to the success of their customers, and it shows with how they go above and beyond to help resolve issues (even external ones outside of their control.) The backend of the platform is user-friendly and has made it easy to customize our site.

Nachteile:

We shopped around for different job board platforms, but we ended up back at JBoard because of the level of service. It does lack some functionality such as being able to add a single job by pasting a link from an ATS, but I'm sure the team has this in their pipeline.

Nachteile:

Translation takes some time. Would be great to have some languages to choose from.

JBoard offers all the important features a JBoard in theses days needs. The support team is super fast.

Nachteile:

The payment part is in my case not so great. Because in Switzerland nobody has a credit card in the business/hr department. A feature for invoicing would be great.

Kommentare: A great product for someone that is launching a start up business - JBoard will give you all the tools and advise that required. Great customer services and great price!!

Vorteile:

I like the features\tools within JBoard and the overall view\layout of the Job board offering. Jboard gives you a number of options to get you started - Lite, Standard and Advance. As well as giving you a 7 day trial to get you started, the support that you receive within the trial version is amazing and ensures that you are fully equipped to start your own job board with it being an success right from the start.Using JBoards trial is a must as all the functions are available for you from importing jobs, to setting up online payments with stripe.Integration - XML Feeds and The backfilling feature on JBoard is great and allows you to pull jobs posted on other websites The help guides are great and the overall setup to creating your own Job board is really easy using JBoard, it is also worth mentioning that they have a great support & development team to assist so if you do want to make some additional changes, they are always willing to assist.

I would have liked a slightly bigger area for my logo so that its more visible

A breath of fresh air!

Kommentare: The truth is that I could say SO MUCH. I didn't know where to begin. In short, you all have been a breath of fresh air to me! Mostly because of your prompt, attentive, and individualized customer service. Also, this jobs board is, thus far, extremely stable and comprehensive, in terms of having taken care of the "little stuff." What I have learned over the last 6 years is that the "little stuff" can be very destructive if not addressed properly. You address it properly! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Vorteile:

Because of my previous experience with web designers and web technicians, what I currently appreciate most is jBoard's fantastic customer service. I couldn't ask for better.

Nachteile:

This is not a complaint; just a reality. At the most basic platform package, I am not able to offer multi-tiered products to my customers. But it's okay. I need to start simply, and this only forces me to be focused and clear about what I AM able to offer.

I like how seamless this software is! The platform focuses on the user in mind and makes sure that each flow to the next step is straightforward and clear. We love how easy it is for our customers to create their own job postings and how easy it is for our job seekers to connect with them. This reduces the amount of support emails or walkthroughs that we have to do. The Jboard team is very attentive to improvements and feedback we give them. We were having problems with employers reposting jobs and this was brought to the Jboard team as one of our largest pain point. Not only did the Jboard team get back to us swiftly, they also created a solution for us right away and communicated improvements for later in the year. We are beyond thankful and happy! We're excited to continue using Jboard and see the improvements coming soon!

Nachteile:

Since the software is fairly new, I know that these improvements are going to come soon. I wish that field customizations for collecting contact info, like phone numbers & multiple employer emails, would be available for us to add. This was already communicated to be improved later on in the year, but real job reposting is one of our pain points and we hope that instead of duplicating the job post, that it would keep the same URL activated.

It looks great! The design is simple & much less cluttered than the competitors. It's so easy to configure and make it work for your own individual business. The pricing is sensible too.The help/chat team are incredibly responsive and go above and beyond to help out and answer both technical and wider questions. So far they've always had the answer for everything I have asked.

Nachteile:

Nothing - every time I have a minor request for change it turns out that they are either about to release it, or they add it to their development backlog.

A Great Solution for Creating a Job Board

Kommentare: I've launched and managed job boards for many years and am very happy that I discovered JBoard. I've been impressed with their product (for which they continue to release great new features!) and customer service. JBoard has saved me time to launch high-quality job boards and their pricing and feature set delivers tremendous value.

Vorteile:

There are many great features of JBoard. The tools available for the job board creator/administrator are user friendly and provide a lot of functionality (such as importing jobs, creating custom pages, and monetization). These tools have saved me time and enabled me to quickly customize my job board, include key features, and launch. I like the clean UI throughout JBoard (for the job board admin, employers, and job seekers) and that it is mobile-friendly. I've also been impressed with the job board features available for employers and job seekers, as well as the SEO aspects of JBoard.

Nachteile:

I have nothing to add here -- I've actually expanded my use of JBoard since I started!

From Idea to Fully Functioning Job Board in Days

Kommentare: The support team are keen to assist and very responsive. Jboard has made it possible to get from idea to a fully functioning Motorsport jobs site in just a few days!

Vorteile:

This is an excellent platform for recruitment startups needing to test and develop a new venture. It has all the required jobs functionality for applicants and employers alike. Easy to get started.

Nachteile:

The content aspect of the site needs some development - it is however possible to create custom pages based on your own custom html which gives the more technically savvy user more options. Content is a secondary concern for us as we chose jobs functionality first.

Great Product, Amazing Customer Service!

Vorteile:

We are a staffing & recruitment firm utilizing JBoard as a way to quickly and conveniently list jobs directly from our CRM. So far, it's been excellent! The team is super quick to respond and always extremely helpful. They've assisted us along the path of getting everything set up and customized, and have even customized the product to fit our needs.

Nachteile:

There are occasionally some formatting issues and it could be a bit more customizable, but we realize this is a startup and that more things are in the pipeline!

Vorteile:

The ease of use and quick way we can customize it. Jboard it's super easy to use and for us it was a really saver (being non-tech founders). We also like the UI layout and plethora of functions that add professionalism to our business.

Nachteile:

We would like to be able to customize the Home Page a bit more, especially the hero section. Having Zapier integration would be really cool as well.

Kommentare: jBoard made it super easy for us to aggregate job posts from our portfolio companies into our website. We were able to have a professional job board up in very little time, and it’s been easy to maintain since launch. The jBoard team is very responsive and has been available to quickly answer the questions we’ve had. We’ve looked into a lot of job board options and jBoard is a clear winner if you want a feature rich board that doesn’t require a lot of time or effort.

Vorteile:

One of the biggest pros for us is that it’s ridiculously easy to maintain our job board without much ongoing oversight thanks to the built-in automations. jBoard allows us to automatically import jobs from our portfolio companies into a single platform, which saves a lot of time. Our team is able to maintain a full job board without having to sacrifice time dealing with administrative overhead.

Nachteile:

Can’t think of any, we’ve loved using it.
