The LMS made for video creators!!

Kommentare: Mastera is the answer to my LMS prayers! I've already hopped from several other LMS's, simply because the front end experience for my students looked'scrappy' and cheaply made, which made my courses feel just as cheap. Mastera's ability to provide a beautiful blank canvas for my courses makes it shine from the others along with it's easy to build lessons for the admins.

Vorteile:

- beautiful front-end/back-end UX - internal video hosting - not buggy - clean look and feel - easy editor - made for video creators - exciting roadmap

Nachteile:

- No quiz option (coming soon I believe) - No written content sections - couldn't see a section to manage students (might just be me). - Needs affilite management (coming soon) - integrations (coming soon)

Perfect for My Part-Time Hustle

Kommentare: Positive. The other products that I tried were frustrating and unattractive.

Vorteile:

Live classes, VOD, scheduling, e-commerce, LMS, CNAME, payment gateway, and SMS and email campaigns. I'm sure that there are more but these are the features that I use. In short: 1. Mastera met all of my requirements 2. Easy to Use 3. Provided an attractive end product

Nachteile:

The tutorials were very difficult to find. Also, would prefer PayPal integration. The only option is Stripe.

New user of Mastera

Vorteile:

I'm excited about mastera because i need to move my existing course over to a less expensive "home," and Mastera is built for video. I'm also excited to learn how to use it to sell live classes. Love that it integrates with Zoom.

Nachteile:

So far, I'm having a little bit of a slow time setting things up. I'm sure there's a learning curve, and they also plan to add more features... but for now it's going slowly.

Mastera isn't a typical LMS - it is much more!

Kommentare: It is easy to set up and to use. Mastera allows you to grow your content consumers from a free plan to monthly paying customers. You also can make a shop, not only for digital products, it is possible to sell physical products like merch T-Shirts. One of the best features is adding video and audio files from YouTube, Vimeo, Loom or upload your files directly to Mastera. Your clients can watch one of your videos, and you can leave a call to action for booking an appointment directly from the video. Mastera has a built-in calendar, and you can charge for live sessions. You get also a built-in solution for email-marketing to sell your products directly from Mastera. It is full blown business in a box.

Vorteile:

I was looking for an all-in-one solution to sell my online courses and some physical merch. I don't want to have different platforms for LMS, email marketing, and a shop system. And I prefer a clean design. Mastera solves all my needs perfectly.

Nachteile:

Calendar integration with Google isn't available now, but it will go live in the following weeks. There is no quizze functionality and no certifications at the moment, but I believe both will come.

Very easy to use and great roadmap

Kommentare: So far, it has been great - looking to incorporate this into multiple projects.

Vorteile:

I was looking for a way to allow clients to sell products/stream/allow downloads all in one - without knowing how to run their own site. Mastera filed that gap, with its easy to use Ui.

Nachteile:

There seems some limitations in styling, and layouts, and it would be great if the store could be embeded.

Ideal for coaches and teachers

Vorteile:

This platform is ideal for coaches and teachers of any kind. Live-stream classes, on-demand videos and programs, 1 on 1 appointment booking, emails campaigns with segmentation and all are together a great combo !

Nachteile:

The features are great at this time, but I hope the team will offer the ability to translate all the UI (I think it's in the roadmap.) I also hope to see in the programs the possibility to have text only lesson, or images, pdf files in a lesson, instead of video only.

Great tool to create and deliver online courses and coaching

Vorteile:

What's most attractive about Mastera is that it does its job - housing and serving online courses and programs - really well. It doesn't try to be an all in one course tool/PM tool/website builder, etc. The intention behind Mastera is to be a great program for courses, and it is well executed. All the things someone would need - hosting, billing, customer contact - are all part of the tool, and simple to use.

Nachteile:

The thing I liked least isn't about Mastera - it's about the timing I came across it. I currently have another tool that includes a membership/LMS module. Although it lacks features that Mastera has, it might be a hassle to migrate everything over. That being said, I foresee all my future courses being hosted on Mastera because of ease of use and ease of deployment.

Mastera = The whole package for course creators

Vorteile:

All in one solution for creation, distribution and monetization of courses. I love the built-in email marketing and SMS Marketing. Their white-label TV apps are also very useful to penetrate more markets.

Nachteile:

A few more customization options for their page builder would be nice. Also, I wish for integration with Konnectzit and the ability to create certificates of completion.

The next Netflix of online classes and courses platforms

Kommentare: Mastera is a great platform for course creators and those who wish to offer bookable online classes. It has a great onboarding process, so you can have your platform set up in just minutes. Something that I love is the possibility of offering a subscription with access to all the courses on my platform and also the sale of products online, a very valuable feature. The platform has an incredible design, which transmits a lot of quality to my students and does not make me look like a beginner. In general, Mastera has many functionalities and a great roadmap, along with a very active and helpful team. I highly recommend it!

Vorteile:

I liked everything about the platform, from how it looks, how fast and easy it is to configure, the possibility of creating recurring subscriptions, selling courses, sending emails and sms, booking classes and much more.

Nachteile:

- does not have video encryption (but can be replaced with embedding of videos hosted on another platform) - you do not have the ability to complete assignments, quizzes, or course completion certificates - does not have an affiliate marketing program or referrals to offer to students

I switched to Mastera from Shopify

Kommentare: Hi Everyone, I learned about Mastera about 4 months ago. What they are creating is perfect for my web offerings and the community that I started two years ago on Shopify. At the beginning of the pandemic I switched my Shopify site from selling online yoga clothes to a collaborative of healers offering online classes. Shopify really isn't built for that, but it's what I had. I'm grateful to have found Mastera. It's perfect for individuals and groups. It was easy for me to switch everything over, and Masteras support is consistent and great! This month I was able to cancle my Shopify site!!! Zoom Classes Automatically Connect Love that Videos upload automatically It's easy to build out programs I like the layout of the teachers pages

Nachteile:

For my business that's starting out, it's perfect. In four months I have seen growth, and I'm excited where they are going, and what they are creating.

Best LMS I have used

Vorteile:

Since the start of the pandemic, I have bought and tested 8 different LMS on LTD. I would say, by far, Mastera is the 1 that meets the mark in all areas from the admin interface, to instructor interface to the students' interface. The breadth of what it can do ie with the live classes, pre recorded classes and even product sales is definitely a major boost to building my training institute online.

Nachteile:

I am a little concerned with the breadth of the product. Hopefully my concernes are unwarranted and the tech team is able to support the development in the various areas

A lot of bang for your buck

Kommentare: Overall, from customer service, to flexibility, I find this service to be top notch. I'm looking forward to finding new use cases for the product.

Vorteile:

One of the things that has struck me right off the bat is everything you can do with Mastera. As another review already pointed out, you really do have the ability to pretty much create a business from the ground up. Another first impression is that it is a beautiful service, especially for an LMS/CMS system and the level of customization that is allowed can really make it easy to integrate it into your existing site, especially if you are utilizing the CNAME features.

Nachteile:

The ability to customize the product for use, as well as so many use cases, can be a little overwhelming and can cause a steep learning curve. With that said, while I say its a Con, its really something that can be overcome with time as you get to learn the product.

Great Opportunity for Live Classes and App

Great

Kommentare: I had a bit of a hard time at first getting used to the platform but now I think I understand it a lot better. I am trying to make the website aspect look like I would like, it's a bit too dark for me.

Vorteile:

The ease of creating content within Mastera! It's so easy to make courses, programs, classes, etc. I have really found this a pleasure to use.

Nachteile:

I am not happy about the single payment processor that is currently offered but there are plans to integrate paypal in the future that's why I haven't given it less than a 10 in recommending to others. I can't wait for the paypal processor, and hopefully an upgrade to the website builder aspect.

Really Good from a New User Perspective

Vorteile:

I am very new to Mastera, and I have subscribed based on a new business idea that I have, but wasn't able to put my finger on how to execute it. This deal came along and provided me with some inspiration on how I could put the business into motion without a lot of work. I've explored the tool so far with ease and am finding it very intuitive and user friendly so far. I'm far from live, so cannot comment on any successes, but so far I am pretty confident that this tool will help me get to where I want to be with my use case.

Nachteile:

I haven't yet come across anything that I have found to be problematic - that said, I am still very new to the software, nor have I used other competing software to compare it to.

Kommentare: I enjoy logging into it and I am shocked that it provides 1 time payment, subscription, and flexeble ways to charge customers which most other LMS tool lack. Other LMS tool focuses on teaching, this tool focuses on YOU making money.

Vorteile:

This is full Ecommerce business solution with a niche on video, digital products and coaching. It eliminates all your courseware & LMS softwares. It has a light email marketing platform, blog/CMS and a pretty sweet ui/ux with modern front end design. I'm glad I'll be able to roll main domain and various subdomains into the same directory with masterio.

Nachteile:

Blog/CMS is a little bit clunky, i believe it will be improved as this is still at startup stage, but not a MVP anymore, fully useable.

An easy to set up, all in one solution to offer online training

Kommentare: Mastera is intuitive to use and there is plenty of help documentation if needed.

Vorteile:

Quick and intuitive to setup, live classes and video courses, stripe integration, video storage provided. Excellent support and 30 min onboarding call offered.

Nachteile:

2 way calendar integration would be fab and I think this is on the road map.

Amazing Product

Kommentare: I have been working in Mastera for the past few weeks. I am quite impressed. I was looking for a tool that can help me develop and organize online courses and then dabble into memberships. The Mastera tool is easy to use (after a learning curve) and really has lots of bells and whistles that other similar tools don't have. If you are needing a simple website or storefront - it has that too (I didn't really need those), but overall a great tool that is very versatile to meet many needs for coaches like me.

Vorteile:

Very flexible and versatile tool that can meet lots of needs for a small coaching business.

Nachteile:

The web builder is a little clunky - but that is not the reason you would buy Mastera.

Excited to Launch Our Business

Vorteile:

We are excited to create a Menstruality Wellbeing Studio offering life classes and courses exploring and support Menstrual Cyclical Wellbeing. The software offers a platform that easily allows us to get started and monetise our share as we grow and develop the platform. We were drawn to Mastera to create our online home as it offers a holisitc package to build our business from without having to use multiple platforms saving us time and money.

Nachteile:

It is still growing, developing and working out its glitches.

Vorteile:

I needed to host live classes for my audience, and this platform really helped do that. I can upload content, schedule them, and even sell physical products. This tool saves me time and money because I don't need to have different tools for each of my needs.

Nachteile:

Some minor bugs on the platform, like the drag-and-drop feature and other few issues, but I'm very confident that the staff will fix them soon! Other than that, I don't have any significant complaints about the platform.
