Our only concern is that our Salesforce integration needs a bit of work. The concern is not an issue with Rocketlane, it is just the pains of connecting two tools.

Handing the customers' Go Live with ease

Vorteile:
The most likeable thing about Rocketlane is the ease of use. It is simple to use but very powerful in terms of keeping the user focused on completing the right stages of implementation at the right time.
Nachteile:
The least likeable thing used to be the slowness of loading the pages. But over the last 6 months it has improved considerably.
A User-Friendly Platform with Effective Functionalities

This integration has streamlined our operations, enhancing communication and coordination across teams. By eliminating the need for disparate platforms, Rocketlane has improved our efficiency and productivity, allowing us to focus more on our core tasks and less on managing multiple systems.
Vorteile:
Rocketlane stands out for its user experience (UX), which is exceptionally simple and intuitive. The platform's ease of use and rapid system performance streamline our processes efficiently. Additionally, several functionalities are thoughtfully designed and align perfectly with our needs, enhancing our operational effectiveness. This combination of simplicity, speed, and well-conceived features makes Rocketlane a valuable tool for our team.
Nachteile:
While Rocketlane offers several valuable features, there are some areas that could be improved. The reporting capabilities are too basic, limiting our ability to generate even simple reports. Key functionalities such as adding formulas and using filters with both OR and AND conditions together are missing. Additionally, there is no automation for aggregated reminders to team members, which would allow us to include multiple projects in a single reminder email when they do not meet certain criteria. Addressing these issues would significantly enhance the platform's usability and effectiveness.

Rocketlane Review - By someone that is client facing and uses the tool daily. Very eager to update this review, as improvements are made!
Kommentare: Overall, I've enjoyed working with the Rocketlane team and feel that there are upcoming updates that will really make a difference and improve the experience for those with roles similar to mine. I do think that Rocketlane would be a great tool for companies that do not have as much customer interaction as our company. I also think it's great for management, as it does a lot of great resource allocation. After working with the platform for close to two months and being part of a pilot program, I feel I have the experience necessary to provide this feedback. It was only today, after receiving an email from Rocketlane Support, that I decided to leave a review. The email was to inform me that they will not be investigating a solution that would allow for users to mute the jarring notification sound that occurs anytime someone from support responds to your chat. The expectation is I close down all browsers with Rocketlane, any time I'm on a client call and update the specific tab that I'm presenting, to not receive notification sounds. This doesn't seem typical of a product that has a client presentation mode. I really do plan on coming back to make updates as the system improves.

In theory, it's great. There are many features that will help certain team members, for example, the employee allocated resource tool seems great and the time tracking feature really excels. The ability to customize the projects into certain lists is helpful.
Nachteile:
As a client facing user, who needs to post meeting minutes, communicate with clients, actively working 3-5 projects at a time, with a role on roughly 10 other projects that only requires me to update one task, I find the system has quite a way to go to be robust enough to replace other client facing tools. I'll list out the various items I've encountered since we began using the tool. - If a client shares their login URL with someone else and they both click it, they are both registered to that email and it's not an easy process to undo this. - All training videos have music playing in the background with no ability to silence it. I found it very distracting. - No ability to send private communication to any users. Therefore, communications on sensitive topics (such as payroll) need to be handled outside of Rocketlane. - When adding files to the same project, Rocketlane does not version them. When trying to use their filter to determine the correct file by date, the chronological filter does not work properly. - Clients are confused about where they should communicate because there are so many different options available. And since you can't be certain a client will tag you, you have to agree to receive almost all communication. - If you work multiple roles (Ex, you oversee certain aspects of 1 project, but are the main contact for another) there is no ability to determine notifications per project. It's overwhelming to have to sift through everything received. - Since you have to enable all notifications, I've had to set up email rules to try and reduce how much hits my inbox. I reached out to support for advice and they were able to share tips for Gmail but were unable to give directions for Outlook. Despite trying a variety of filters, I still cannot get it to always work, and despite requesting if someone at rocketlane might be able to assist since our entire company uses outlook, this request has never been fulfilled. - When reporting issues to Rocketlane, they will ping you and chat bubble comes up. The sound is very loud and jarring. Rocketlane does not have internal controls for this, and as a user, you need to update your browser settings. Unfortunately, not all browsers have this setting, and it needs to be completed per tab in some cases. To add to this, the reminder emails they send do not link to the existing ticket or name it, so you have to log in to even know what issue they are referencing. - When on client calls using "Presentation" mode, you cannot make any updates. This means if you want to update something while on the call with a client, they will see the entire board, including the private items they aren't supposed to see. - When using their special features, like @@ to link something, it lists everything that is possible, but not the stage of the project, so unless you have everything named very uniquely, this because challenging. - If someone responds via email, everything will post, include their signature and the message will not have any formatting. - If an employee wants to respond via email, there is nothing in the email to identify the reply as being private or public. - There is no ability to forward emails into the project. Since there is no ability to share private communications with certain clients, payroll conversations become difficult to properly document. - The "what's new" section doesn't just include product updates, but updates on how successful they've been at raising money. I haven't come across this on other platforms and feel it's unnecessary. - The shared space section where you and a client can work on items together only allows for one document, so there is no value in this feature for us.
Great tool missing some stuff to make it perfect

An excellent Implementation System

Vorteile:
Rocketlane allows us to personalize our project environments while tracking our employee's involvement on a granular level. I can also see our team's utilization and make better resourcing decisions based on their availability.
Nachteile:
I wish there were not so many bugs recently, but I will say the customer service is EXCELLENT and any issues I report are always fixed very quickly and with a smile.

Look of the application, it feels very basic.
easy to use and customizable to meet your needs
Kommentare: Easy to implement, fast to communicate with, and very client friendly. It has been great to minimize the "millions of conversations" with clients across many emails threads and different communication services and to manage comms with remove teams accross many time zones. It is so easy to use and if there are every any struggles, the support team is extremely responsive, so easy to communcaite with and fast to fix.
Vorteile:
Ability to customize to meet the needs of each individual project
Nachteile:
Not able to move tasks accross projects; but you are able to assign projects to the same clients so it is easy to work around. The only thing "missing" is the ability to manage "support" via RL; with that, you could use RL to manage the ENTIRE lifecycle with a client.

Fastest growing PSA tool in the entire market, with great features.
Kommentare: Nothing short of "breathtaking". It is one of the fastest growing PSA tools in the market and the speed of execution has been immense.
Vorteile:
The speed of execution at which the product team is shipping new features, every month has been a key takeaway for me on the Rocketlane tool as well as the team at Rocketlane. The team is truly focused on making the customers succeed and gave individual attention to the asks that we had in terms of features.
Nachteile:
Nothing specific except the lack of customer success features. Rocketlane should now focus on building its customer success module wherein, it can become a one-stop shop for all customer success and PSA organizations.

A must have product for Team and Client Management
Kommentare: Very good. I needn't track bunch of folders, spreadsheets and Emails to manage my clients. The team internally collaborates well too. One screen, all solutions.
Vorteile:
Ease to work with different stakeholders, all at one place. Task management and follow ups are transparent.
Nachteile:
I do not have any issues with Rocketlane so far. It addresses all my day-to-day requirements pretty well

Best Application for Project Tracking

There are various things which i liked in the application - Private space which i can use for actionable within team, same is not visible to client - Use this application to have conversation with client (chat tool too) - Easy to attach documents - Project also have sub task activities (Child -Parent relation) - Overall project status with delay activities - Reminders for the project (next and delayed task) - Play with % of completion with task and subtask and many more

A powerful project management tool - ideal for SaaS OnBoarding projects
Kommentare: We are using Rocketlane to accelerate our customer's onBoarding projects and facilitate issue managements with existing clients.
Vorteile:
I really like the Presenter mode, which allow me to show my customers what the project is going to look like, within a synthetic view. I also love the possibility to generate status reports directly from the tool, with a simple click & drop of recently completed or blocked tasks.
Nachteile:
I use project phases for projects with clearly defined tasks but I'm currently missing the opportunity to define custom tags to easily build group of tasks later inside the Kanban board for example
Effective, Intuitive Onboarding

Preferred Onboarding Platform
Vorteile:
We love using Rocketlane's external view of the project so we can share with our Customer and keep specific tasks internal vs external. Rocketlane allows us to control our branding and onboarding experience better than competitors.
Nachteile:
Rocketlane is new to the scene and thus some of the features will be fresh and rusty. Transfering from Asana just took a little bit of getting used to you. They have a great Care team and resources which eliminate these concerns.
