Fantastic product with lots of additions

Kommentare: Overall Birdview is nice, a lot comes down to how your organization has it set up and what level of user you are.

Vorteile:

Birdview (Avian Perspective as we affectionately call it) is fairly easy to use and is improving constantly. My favorite part of Birdview is the extensive learning suite that comes with it. If you need guidance, there are webinars and help sections, further supported by live Chat support. Most actions are easy to understand and follow. It is scalable and flexible adding to it's useability. There's many additional modules, we even use it for some of our Dev requests (forms in BV).

Nachteile:

There is some frustration with the way Activity Est. Hours roll up to a Project total. Not sure if this is a setting issue on our end or just the way it's meant to be. We often set a total # of Est. Hours then break down the activities. It tends to Add any Activity hours to the Est total, instead of considering it part of that total. Again, this may be a setting our BV Admin may need to look at.

Nice transition to a new project management platform

Kommentare: We recently transitionned to BirdView. It's been pretty intuitive to start with the platform and I thank my employer for the guides they built for it.

Vorteile:

It's pretty easy to enter your time sheets in the right projects. The amount of customization of your personnal space makes it adaptable to many styles of work

Nachteile:

I'd really like for the numpad period to work for my time entries

Not user-friendly timesheet software

Kommentare: I only use birdview twice a month to submit my timesheet, which is just enough time to forget every functionality I've ever learned and have it be a confusing not fun experience. My experience may be tainted by the fact that it is a timesheet software, which is hard to enjoy...

Vorteile:

that you can track notes with time enteries

Nachteile:

confusing, clunky, nonhelpful reports, not user-friendly. I wish it had automatic default hours based on your projects/expected load. Instead, you have to re-select every project you work on for each week.

A solid program

Kommentare: Better than some software I have used, but could still use some tweaking, especially the App.

Vorteile:

It provides a great visual representation of the various projects in work. The time log is easy to understand as well.

Nachteile:

(Android App) - Messages and assignments seem to be very slow to arrive - hours or more is typical. My Work Group backs up most messages and assignments with TEAMS messages "just to be sure" they get through.

Nice new tool, flexible and user-friendly

Kommentare: pretty easy to navigate, I just started using it and it feels and looks nice

Vorteile:

Flexibility, nice UI, easy to use, has mobile client.

Nachteile:

A little too complicated at times, but that's just the other side of flexibility, I guess. Navigation could be better. Android applicaion doesn't work for some reason. infinite login screen loop.

Birdview is a Must Have!!

Kommentare: Once I learned how to use Birdview it made my time tracking and invoicing so much easier. My consultants would log their time, and I could create all invoices based on that data and notes.

Vorteile:

The reporting in Birdview made my work so much easier than the other platforms we use.

Nachteile:

I wish Birdview had an APP so I could easily use it from my phone when traveling.

Birdview the team tool

Kommentare: Help me keep track of task and great tool for large team projects.

Vorteile:

All the task and project in sorted order and easy to navigate UI.

Nachteile:

Notification column can be more optimized.

Required to know for my new job

Kommentare: I started a new job in January and I was onboarded to learn and use Birdview for all my projects. Everything was pretty straight forward and made my job that much easier, compared to other project management platforms like Monday.com. The email notifications are a lifesaver, they help me keep track of my work and recall deadlines.

Vorteile:

I like that Birdview will send you email notifications of upcoming deadlines, the ability to have a conversation within each project and the purple circle that appears when something new occurs on a project.

Nachteile:

If someone were to update something within the job description, I wish I would also get a notification that it has been changed/modified. Also, there is a delay to my email by at least 5-10 minutes when someone posts something or makes a comment.

Easy Projects is Easy

Kommentare: Has improved over the years. Overall satisfied!

Vorteile:

Good for high level project management making it easy to track and add team members for accountability.

Nachteile:

Would like to link with other tools easier

I get a lot of emails whenever tasks are made, feels a little excessive.

An easy, intuitive way of managing time and the team

Vorteile:

At our agency, we have many active projects and tasks under each project at any given time, and manage roughly 30 creatives assigned to those projects. Being able to easily bill and track time is super valuable, and the clean, simple interface makes that easier for everyone from the junior designer to the creative director.

Nachteile:

Many on our creative team only use it to track time and find projects, and some views have so many options to click or select, it can be hard to find the most common uses for our team.

What I like least about Birdview is that the initial setup can be a bit complex and may require a learning curve, especially for new users. Some advanced features feel a bit overwhelming at first, and customization options, while robust, can take time to fully utilize. Additionally, occasional lags in loading large projects or reports could impact workflow efficiency.

Many useful features, especially with project tracking.

Kommentare: Over experience is positive. User-friendly, global overview of multiple ongoing projects helps with gauging capacity and utilizability, and can go back for reference and edit if need be (flexible usage).

Vorteile:

Birdview is user-friendly. You can track multiple projects which can be broken into sub-projects/tasks. You can enter as you go, adjust post-hoc, and it saves automatically, so it's flexible in terms of each own's desired frequency of use. I also appreciate the calendar feature when tracking hours to flag which days meet quota (green) or are under (yellow) / over (red).

Nachteile:

All existing and pre-existing projects remain in the dropdown when selecting which project to track. If there was a way to hide some, it would be easier / more efficient to navigate through them. If you want to remove hours from a project, you cannot completely; it forces you to retain at least 0:01hrs (i.e. 1 min) - would just be cleaner if one could override this feature.

Birdview Review for Research Scientists

Kommentare: Generally speaking, it's a great PM software that does the job of keeping things in line.

Vorteile:

It's a fairly straightforward program that keeps schedules and budgets along with other task reporting within quick reach.

Nachteile:

Some of the customized reports could be more useful. Being able to split PTO (Paid Time Off) so that it is something that's considered in the total project, but doesn't add toward the hours shown for the total amount of effort (workable hours) remaining would be great.

Great Project Managment tool

Kommentare: I quite like the ease-of-use when it comes to daily time tracking and project planning.

Vorteile:

I really like the the ability to access specific projects and tasks from multiple areas within the site. Tracking labour and progress from tasks up to project milestones is very easy to do.

Nachteile:

I wish I could save specific reporting functions.

Strucural engineer - Honest opinion

Vorteile:

It's cool and user-friendly. I would say the USER INTERFACE or I think its called CSS. Keep in mind this review is done by someone who used to code back in 2016 but took engineering as Plan B.

Nachteile:

The tracking of projects is limited to time/ cash. We need AI to help us find more money to make from clients aka marketing or outreach companies. I DONT MAKE MONEY on projects - full-time person making less than 70k before tax lol. Dont sue me bro.

Birdview Can Help Multiple Projects Needs

Kommentare: Overall, my experience with Birdview PSA is great because I use every day the ease of completing tasks is good.

Vorteile:

What I like the most about Birdview PSA is the ease of closing and/or adding to tasks or projects.

Nachteile:

Sometimes when I am unable to see a project, I have to get another admin to add me to it. I have super coordinator status.

Birdview is a useful tool for time tracking and reporting.

Vorteile:

Ease of time tracking, ability to copy over tasks from week to week, different available views for reporting.

Nachteile:

Sometimes tricky to navigate the user interface. I wish it was less redundant to add team members to a project each time.

I use the time tracking feature and hourly reports on a daily basis for my team. This is critical for my daily workflow and Birdview makes this task easy and manageable.

I wish there was a more comprehensive onboarding tutorial for new users.

Easy to Use

Vorteile:

Birdview is easy to use and I like the structure it provides. It's very nice to be able to leave comments for other employees direclty within tasks and keep track of everything in one place without the need for external communication in many situations.

Nachteile:

Navigating between different tasks and projects can sometimes be confusing. It takes time to customize and set up the view in the way that works best for you.

Easy Projects Birdview

Kommentare: Its good, and they are improving with their updates

Vorteile:

If we click weekly time log history we will get all detail of the projects worked, hours charged on each day at once, we can also quickly differenciate the undercharged , overcharged days by looking at the color of the calender in it.

Nachteile:

Charging hours for the projects should have been made more easier, If I need to charge a project on multiple days I cannot do it once I need to open it repeatedly

Very User Friendly

Nachteile:

How you have to adjust the dates from the very beginning of use in the BI Dashboards.

Birdview Efficiency

Birdview is user friendly and efficient. The ease of being able to repeat time each week and add new time categories makes Birdview a great option.

Nachteile:

As year to year turns over, it can be somewhat cumbersome to exchange years in Birdview.

Enjoyed the ease of input of project information and the tracking elements.

Some areas could be more effectively designed for browser use especially the time log area.

Experience with Birdview

Kommentare: I think that this is a very easy to use time tracking tool for organizations. It is visually appealing, and light makes it nice.

Vorteile:

I enjoy how easy it is to track my time. Also, how I can carry over my previous weeks timesheets. The layout is clean and appealing too.,

Nachteile:

I do not really have anything I dislike about Birdview. It serves it purpose for me.
