IDP does things you can't easily do in most competing CRMs. It is tailored to a very specialized market segment that can force more generic systems to work, but really needs what IDP provides. We've tried a number of solutions, and were never happy -- particularly for our nonprofit and political needs -- until we found this. And at the same time, this works well for a business applications too, even though a business-focused CRM would be woefully inadequate for our other needs.
Most of the things IDP lacks are on the company's development schedule, and they are constantly rolling out improvements. It's really hard to complain.

Ease of use. Ability to capture detail. Pictures with profiles. Overall look and feel of profiles. Groups feature.
How data is exported and control of data as it exports. Also how the email feature works. It is not intuitive nor easy to create dynamic emails.
