Finally, a product for Landlords to replace the trusty spreadsheets

Kommentare: A fantastic user experience so far. AlphaLetz understand their clients and the market they're in. I moved over to the product as soon as I saw it advertised, overall, it will mean less paper and more timely reminders and helpful reports to keep us compliant and ahead of the game.

Vorteile:

The product is cloud based, has a sweet app and is secure. I can use this product to manage both our Residential and Commerical lettings. I am really impressed with the cleanness and smoothness of the screen and input, there is no clunkiness at all. The more I use the product the more useful features I find and once all the historical data is entered there will be no forgetting the deadlines.

Nachteile:

There isn't much I don't like, and customer support have been so helpful and taken on board a few of my suggestions for improvements. One of the things, especially for entering all the historic data is the date entry box. It would be nice to either pick the data from the box or enter in manually. I suppose it depends how fast people are typing and data entry. For me it's quicker to do a manual entry.

Great for business owners with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.

Kommentare: What is also great is that it’s a cloud-based system and the developer is extremely open minded to improvements and functions that will assist the community and others with neuro diverse conditions.

This company provided invaluable support to navigating me through understanding and successfully obtaining the correct management output required to understand both how our business was operating and also maintaining the correct property management. It did take a couple of days to rewire my brain from using spreadsheets but compared to other software this is intuitive and beautifully crafted along with the invaluable support from Alphaletz. Easy to use property management software

Kommentare: [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been very helpful and always responds very quickly to my queries. It has been great to get a very personal customer service which you don't get with the large companies.

Vorteile:

I really like the visual layout of Alphaletz and find it easy to see all the relevant data on the app and online.

Nachteile:

We manage student tenancies where the rent schedule is not a straightforward monthly payment on the same day. Most pay monthly for the first 3 months and then termly for the rest of the contract. Payment dates and amounts therefore vary. We really need to be able to set this up accurately on the system to be able to monitor rent payments closely.

Enabled me to take back control from expensive managing agents

Kommentare: Setting up the system was pretty easy as I'm comfortable with using technology. Prior to semi-retiring, I ran a mid-sized IT services company in London, so I didn't need any help from Alphaletz to get my rentals in to their system.

Vorteile:

Alphaletz is intuitive, easy to use and provides all the information I need to manage my 3 rental properties myself. Whilst the software is relatively new to market, the company seem to take onboard feedback from their clients and build that feedback into their roadmap. There have been numerous updates and feature enhancements that are released on a regular basis since I started to use the app. The app is fast and allows me to have information on my rentals at my fingertips. The key thing for me, is that my yields were decreasing and my managing agent added little to no value yet took a big chuck of my monthly rentals and when things did go wrong, the repair bills seemed overly expensive. Using Alphaletz has enabled me to cut out the managing agent and thereby improve my monthly yields, without overly impacting on my valuable time.

Nachteile:

There isn't anything in particular that I dislike about the Alphaletz software. One thing I would like to see as a possible future enhancement would be to build a pool or nationwide resources and trusted tradespeople that Alphaletz customers could tap in to (plumbers, electricians, gas safety certification, EPC's, landlord insurance, cleaning, etc.) to further reduce the time I need to spend looking after my rentals.

Super User Friendly

Kommentare: It's been so easy to set up and has been brilliantly designed to suit every eventuality that I have needed to record so far. I know that other users have made suggestions and knew features and functions are added often. I've been absolutely delighted with it and can't recommend it highly enough.

Vorteile:

In the short time I've been using the software it's already proved well worth the money. Not only is it really easy to set up and use, but there are lots of opportunities to watch live webinars and I've twice asked questions via email and got an immediate reply from the people who built it. I even just got sent a bespoke video in answer to a question.

Nachteile:

Although there is a feature to link your properties to your bank account so payments can be reconciled, my bank (Handelsbanken) does not support this feature. Absolutely no fault of Alphaletz, but rather my old fashioned bank. Most banks can be linked.

Property business - digitized

Kommentare: This is an intuitive programme designed for the property professional by a property professional. The ease of use and simple interface attracted me to this application along with it being designed for property investors. It's integration with your bank accounts is excellent and tracking financial transactions is simple. Sorting and searching options should make finding what you're looking for a breeze too.I will very likely recommend this programme in the future but I've only been using it for a short time. The only issue I can't comment on is how it works with multiple users as I'm the only user in my company.

Invaluable tool for Landlords

Kommentare: Saving time and money. Reducing the hassle factor of managing rental property.

Vorteile:

Takes all of the key tasks and automates them for you. If you are managing rental property this is a no-brainer! Lovely look and feel. Fantastic value for money!

Nachteile:

There is nothing I dislike about the product. I suppose they will add even more features as they go along.

Focussed Functionality

Kommentare: Excellent, the functionality clearly designed by people who operate real rentals business. The balance between functionality and simplicity is a good fit for my business.

Vorteile:

The functionality in the application focusses on the the matters that are most important to running a property rentals business. It is also designed to operate HMOs with individual room lets; critical functionality to our business.

Nachteile:

Figuring out the tenant lease terminology and functionality took a little bit of time. I need to re-visit this as maybe I'm not understanding something.

Alphaletz the perfect landlord app

Kommentare: I used to use excel spreadsheets which are of course clunky and took up a lot of time to keep on top of, I have tried other apps also but the complexity always put me off so I never really used them. Alphaletz is the first one that I have tried and stuck with and now use on a regular basis. The customer service is excellent and they have got back to me with my initial questions very quickly. A great app thank you !

Vorteile:

Very simple to use and easy to navigate allows me to keep on top of my properties in a simple way, I like the way all aspects are linked in together from expenses to reminders . Has all the functionality I need without becoming to complex to use. I have tried a number of apps and this so far is the best by a long way !

Nachteile:

none so far very happy with the app and support as needed

Alphaletz

Vorteile:

I have only used the trial version but have been looking for a software that can do it all: track everything per property (residential, commercial, HMO etc.) and do the banking/preparation for the accountant as well. Very interested in the online signing of documents.

Nachteile:

I haven't used the product properly for all the properties that we administer, so can't comment yet.

The most important features:-Open BankingTasks to keep your portfolio compliant Ability to store documents against tenants

Nachteile:

- Ability to invoice from the system would be useful- Ability to add a company name rather than just a personal name

Alphletz

Kommentare: Very positive, any questions or query that you have seem to be answered and looking forward to continuing to use Alphaletz moving forward.

Vorteile:

I have previously relied on spreadsheets for my portfolio of rental properties and this was becoming very time consuming at the end of the tax year and filling in my tax returns. Using Alphaletz software will definitely save me time and hopefully money. I have been pleased with the software since using it. The best thing that I like about the software is keeping all of my data in one secure place with instant access to information and consolidating income and expenditure.

Nachteile:

It’s pretty easy to use and getting a hang of all the ins and out to make best use of the software. No real major concerns

Communication is a 2 way thing

Kommentare: I first met CEO at exhibitions over a year ago, when a client of theirs suggested I spoke to [SENSITIVE CONTENT]. I liked his presentation style, efficient and not pushed. I think I told him I had research another company. But I have attended several training webinars during last 12 months. I am really impressed by the way this company operate providing a 1st class service which is 100% fit for my purposes both now and future property plans.they accept all challenges to improve their system. They are proactive.what’s not to like? And it’s is so cost effective in the real world of property. What they do is perfect for a landlord to record all the info they require in 1 place. I have not looked at how much info their site has on ‘Free content for Landlords’

Vorteile:

It is constantly being improved. The management listen to their client base. The bigger the growing client base the better the Alphaletz System will become. I am surprised landlords go elsewhere.

Nachteile:

I am old school and have researched this and other systems. After a year I have changed my thinking and like what I see at Alphaletz.

Alphalezt, cloud based organisation for rentals

Vorteile:

Cloud based, app and web access, this is a dedicated platform for Landlords to manage their properties and finances not a generic platform bent to suit.

Nachteile:

Like all software its only as good as the effort and information you put into it, initial upload of info takes some time but once loaded in it seems to work very well. there are a few niggles but there is a continual development plan for the software, and they seem to be very interactive with users to get it working smoothly and keep it evolving.

Useful Property Management Software

Vorteile:

Clean user interface and is relatively intuitive to use. I particularly like the task reminders as it helps enormously with remaining compliant with the law

Nachteile:

Having to pay per unit rather than per property. If you have several tenants in one property it can quickly ramp up the cost of using Alphaletz

Would like to have been able to delete certain things Ie rent payments so they don't stay as due if they won't be paid

Ease of Starting

Kommentare: Met at a landlord show. Found the staff to be really helpful.

Vorteile:

This product is not overly complicated. I also like the look of the interface.

Nachteile:

I am still learning how to use the product, so have no negative concerns

Great handy app

Vorteile:

Ease to use and simple to get started. I love the easy access to the app and my property dashboard. It gives me all the information in a simple-to-read format. Running reports is quick and straightforward and is a great time-saver. Highly recommended.

Nachteile:

I haven’t found anything I don’t like yet.

Amazing app for busy landlords!

Kommentare: The app is very easy to use. I am very pleased by the support I received from Alphaletz team so far.

Vorteile:

I’ve just started using Alphaletz, and I can already see it’s going to be really useful for the end of year tax return. I need my income and expense history to send to my accountant, and that’s so easy to do now by running a quick report in the App. The app helps me to stay on top of expenses by taking a photo of the receipt, uploading it into my Alphaletz account and allocating against the property.

Nachteile:

There is nothing at the moment that I don't like. I am sure Alphaletz has a great roadmap of features and I am looking forward to using them.

Excellent software developed by real and knowledgeable people

The software is evolving all of the time so shortcomings get addressed as the software develops

Some foreign currency options were not available when I started using the App

This software is what I have been looking for. It replaces spreadsheets and diary entries and means I can complete my tax returns easily.

It would be useful to have a search function for “help”.
