Vorteile:

Die Idee dahinter ist eine Revolution und ist sehr interessant. Für Leute, die ihre Privatsphäre schützen wollen ist es ein must have.

Nachteile:

Schade ist nur, dass es auch Kriminelle für ihre Zwecke nutzen.

Vorteile:

Nothing's off limits. I was able to access every part of the web. It's amazing! The freedom of Tor is undeniably awesome.

Nachteile:

The basic features, kinda make it boring. I didn't like how I had to, Retype everything when surfing. It also has security that I believe is just to much.

interesting app but is it really that secure

Kommentare: I was looking for a combination of TOR and VPN and "TOR Browser Private Web + VPN" seemed to be a good shot. The more I learned about the intricacies of privacy, the less I started using the app, and relied on the PC-based Tor app + a VPN whose location was deemed safer. Not being able to choose from what country to connect from (trial version only) was also a bit offputting. I now don't use the app, and prefer using my computer with the original TOR browser + a VPN of my choice.

Vorteile:

it combines TOR and a VPN. You can set up your browser through a set of preferences (javascript, bookmarks, you can choose to keep your browsing history)...

Nachteile:

The app doesn't seem to be open source: it is always a concern for me, I tend to trust open-source apps more, especially when it comes to privacy. I also did not find where their VPN company is based, which is another concern for me as I don't rely too much on VPNs based in the 5, 9, or 14 'eyes' countries. In my trial version (the paid version is different), I could not choose the country I wanted to connect from. Sometimes the app would not connect at all or browsing was very slow. When checking on the check.torbrowser website, it reads: "This browser is configured to use TOR, however, it does not appear to be TOR browser". It doesn't reassure me much.

The exit relay can be a single point where the data sent over the network less secure but still the tor browser ensures the security for the end users. Tor browser lacks in the bandwidth speeds as it built hops in the network.

Tor browser starts a fresh session every time you browser. You can refresh the browser session automatically every hour of browsing to switch profile and servers. I honestly love the way Tor Browser gives the user freedom to surf anything without censoring the results. Tor Browser also uses technology incorporates VPNs into the browser to ensure anonymous browsing and privacy.

Nachteile:

I cannot think of any problems with the browser because it uses its own servers and relays so it does not crash. The only con is that the browser is slower on standard devices like mobile devices.

J.L. Tor Browser Review

Kommentare: Tor Browser was the first ever privacy-focused browser that I've come across that offers the same features as any other browser with the exception of not using your data for malicious intentions (ads, etc.). So when it came to browsing for information that may seem criminal-related, this was the first browser that I turned to. However, I rarely use it because other browsers like Google and Safari are already installed on my devices since I got them. So going out of my way to install a replacement browser didn't make any sense for me at the point in time. To contrast that statement, with more research that I conduct these days I will definitely put Tor Browser in mind.

Vorteile:

Websites that are blocked in my region, since I live in the Caribbean, can be finally accessed with no issues whatsoever when using Tor Browser.

Nachteile:

Since most of my account information are connected to either iCloud, Google or Microsoft, Tor Browser isn't a priority for me as there aren't any other applications associated to it that I can use.

Kommentare: Se usato correttamente ed in maniera legale, è un ottimo alleato da avere installato sul proprio pc.Sconsiglio ovviamente di usarlo come browser principale poichè troppo limitato, lento e perché effettivamente molto spesso non ce n è bisogno.

Lo uso da anni quando voglio navigare senza essere monitorato, senza pop up fastidiosi e richieste di dati personali da parte di numerosi siti. Riduce anche le innumerevoli pubblicità di certi siti, quanto basta per ritenerlo un valido browser alternativo a quello principale (che uso nella maggior parte dei casi)E' comunque utile a mio avviso averlo installato affiancato, per avere queste possibilità in caso di necessità.Inoltre in certi paesi aggira la censura del web da parte dello Stato o delle Autorità e quindi promuove la libertà di parola e di espressione, cosa che umanamente apprezzo.

Nachteile:

La velocità di navigazione estremamente bassa, ovviamente è quello che bisogna sopportare per avere a disposizione tutta questa privacy, fermo restando che Tor Browser è sicuro ma in certe circostanze non totalmente irrintracciabile.Qualcuno inoltre potrebbe usarlo in modo scorretto e per compiere illeciti. Ovviamente il programma non è nato per questi intenti, e spesso lo si associa negativamente ed esclusivamente alla cybercriminalità, sbagliando e tralasciando invece le potenzialità "sane" e gli scopi giusti e leciti che può avere in certi contesti.

Posiblemente es el mejor navegador para realizar consultas en la Web de manera anónima, es gratuito y requiere poco espacio en el sistema. Dispone de una VPN muy rápida y segura. Tiene la funcionalidad para realizar navegación en el Internet profundo o deep web. Se comporta muy bien sin problemas reseñables y es muy rápido. Lo recomiendo 100%

Nachteile:

Deben mejorar la interfaz, diseño para poder disponer de mayores opciones de configuración y una mejor fluidez de uso pero esto son temas secundarios. algunas veces puede ser algo lento pero es un tema puntual y posiblemente influya la web que visites. Para opciones avanzadas hay que tener ciertos conocimientos.

What Tor is infamous for, however, is its almost cartoonishly excessive slow load times. This is inherent to its functionality, because the users location is being pinged across the globe to mask the IP address, which takes more time.
