OneNote ist mein zweites Gehirn

Kommentare: OneNote ist Ideenspeicher, Zwischendokumentation, enthält Protokolle und einfache Notizen. Intuitiv bedienbar und anpassbar. Es kommt hier wie so oft darauf an, was man damit macht. Für mich ein mächtiges und unverzichtbares Tool. Ich nutze OneNote sowohl beruflich als auch privat.

Vorteile:

Flexibel an eigene Bedürfnisse anpassbar durch die Bestandteile Buch, Register, Notiz, Kategorien, Farben. OneNote ist Teil der Microsoft 365 Suite und spielt somit auch mit anderen Anwendungen zusammen. Beispielsweise lassen sich Notizen in Microsoft Teams integrieren. Plattformunabhängig (Windows und IOS).

Nachteile:

Nur ein Detail, aber es kommt vor, dass Notizen auf dem Desktop leicht nach links verrutscht angezeigt werden, wenn die Notiz auf einem Apple-Gerät erzeugt wurde.

Universallösung zur Organisation von Informationen

Kommentare: Vollumfänglich zufrieden. Informationen werden leicht und übersichtlich festgehalten und mit Kolleg:innen geteilt.

Vorteile:

Man findet sich sofort zurecht und der Freiheit im Gestalten und Teilen von Informationseinheiten sind keine Grenzen gesetzt.

Nachteile:

Bislang sind mir keine negativen Merkmale aufgefallen.

Diese Software ist ein Ersatz für Notizzettel.

Kommentare: Eine übersichtliche, selbsterklärende Software für den täglichen Gebrauch.

Vorteile:

Ich nutze es für kurze Notizen oder Erläuterungen zu bestimmten Themen. Man kann die einzelnen Notizen themenbezogen in einem Ordner alegen.

Nachteile:

Man kann es nicht gut mit Apple Produkten mobil nutzen.

Microsoft OneNote

Vorteile:

Insgesamt würde ich die Verwendung von OneNote trotz der gelegentlichen Schluckaufs empfehlen. Es ist eine sehr zuverlässige und einfach zu bedienende Software für Notizen und Organisation, die ich empfehlen würde.

Nachteile:

OneNote ist einfach zu bedienen und ermöglicht die problemlose Dokumentation und Ablage von verschiedenen Notizen. Der Reiz liegt darin, dass es tatsächlich einem digitalen Notizbuch ähnelt.

Ein Muss für Microsoft Office Nutzer

Kommentare: Microsoft OneNote ist ein gutes Tool, wenn man das Office Paket sowieso nutzt. Es eignet sich hervorragend für Notizen und zur Ablage von Dokumenten. Für komplexe Sachverhalte/ Projekte ist es für mich weniger geeignet.

Vorteile:

One Note ermöglicht es schnell und unkompliziert Notizen zu machen, Artikel und Dokumente abzulegen oder Besprechungsmitschriften anzufertigen.

Nachteile:

Die Möglichkeiten Seiten individuell zu gestalten sind begrenzt. Auch die Aufgabenfunktion ist für meine Zwecke nicht ausreichend.

BEST NOTE APPLICATION

Vorteile:

Kommentare: Overall OneNote is a great tool to use for project management. I use this almost every day for tracking my team’s tasks, projects and to-dos, and I love that you can easily integrate it with other Microsoft tools like Excel/Word/Teams etc . I have recommended it to multiple colleagues even for organizing the workload and tasks of external partners and consultants, and it’s working great!

Vorteile:

This is a very easy to use and versatile tool. It’s very intuitive to use, you can incorporate easily different elements like text/images/drawings etc, and you can link everything back to microsoft office or Teams amazingly!

Nachteile:

Some more advanced tools for organization could be useful. I am missing the tagging option for the files I am collaborating with people from my company.

Vorteile:

Able to save documents written in Microsoft word. Has great storage for saving documents

Nachteile:

Unable to connect to a printer. When it comes down to getting documents it has a hard time releasing them.

Highly Recommend

Kommentare: I really very positive experience with OneNote. I utilize mine to house the most important information related to my day to day duties, terminology, contacts, projects, and processes. I love the tab and sub tab capabilities and color coding options.

Vorteile:

I love that I can take and organize my notes digitally without the fear of losing any information. I also like how OneNote is getting more and more integrated with other applications, for example our newest AI component, Copilot. I love that I can import emails to save to my OneNote or create a table in one note and export it to excel. The application is very user friendly, easy to navogate and customize to my liking.

Nachteile:

There isn’t much I don’t like. I supposed when I want to format documentation, that can be a little difficult sometimes. However, OneNote is not really made for this so I typically utilize PowerPoint or word to format content (depending on what’s being generated) and then I import it into OneNote.

Reliable note taking and task management app

Vorteile:

As a note taking app I find OneNote more useful and with more features than other apps. I used to use Evernote, but there were to many restrictions and not too many options for notes categorization. With OneNote one has not only the Notebook entity, but also the sections within each Notebook and the pages within each section. This tree structure on 3 levels allows for a quite flexible approach when it comes to notes categorization. Another critical feature is the Search function: allowing to search across all notebooks and pages. As for task management, I find OneNote easier to use to store my to do's with additional info (text and images). This is very useful when working on individual projects and not having to switch to other apps. OneNote can work as a mood board, note taking, task management, reminders, even password management (you can password protect a particular section)

Nachteile:

The sync process could benefit from some improvements: as in the notebooks to be created by default in OneDrive or SharePoint. There are scenarios where the notebooks are created locally, then in order to sync one needs to put it manually on OneDrive or SharePoint.

Engineering with Microsoft One Note

Kommentare: Very positive. It keeps me organized and all my thoughts in one place. I get coworkers coming up and asking me what I am using for note taking quite frequently.

Vorteile:

Great product for taking notes and staying organized at work. I love how it syncs across my Microsoft account to my phone.

Nachteile:

Unclear how to integrate handwriting when working on a laptop.

can have the export option so hassle free in terms of exporting. sometime synching takes time

OneNote: The Only Anti-Minimalist Note-Taking App That Works

Kommentare: For me, Obsidian feels a bit too complex, and MS Notepad far too basic. OneNote strikes the right balance between the two. I don't consider myself a hardcore note-taker, but I do need a space to get ideas out of my head. I appreciate the freedom of its canvas and the ability to drop things in as messily as they come to me—quickly and efficiently. Then, when the storm of ideas calms, I can sort through what’s important and structure everything accordingly.

Vorteile:

Old habits die hard. Even though there are numerous new note-taking apps available—and some of them are really good—I still find myself sticking with OneNote to capture my thoughts and ideas. Despite the allure of new, shiny apps, I always find it hard to switch. OneNote remains my daily driver for note-taking, so I let it be.What I like most about Microsoft OneNote is its ability to handle all sorts of media—text, images, links, and more—and how it manages thumbnails and backlinks. While this isn't unique or groundbreaking by today’s standards, it was back when I first started using it, and it's been working beautifully for me ever since.

Nachteile:

search functionality, while decent, isn't as powerful as I'd like. Finding specific content can be slow, especially in larger notebooks, and it doesn't always surface relevant results as efficiently as other apps. For someone juggling multiple projects or ideas, this can slow down productivity.

An incredibly powerful one-stop-shop

Kommentare: Beyond these cons, OneNote is super-easy to use, powerful, and functional across all major platforms. Unfortunately, not all platforms offer the same features: Wiki-style links (creating links using [[ ]]) is not supported in the browser version nor on iPadOS.

Vorteile:

You can embed content from so many sites: Youtube, Thinglink, Coogle to name a few. Each notebook can contain as many section groups and sections as you want, with as many pages and sub-pages as you want. And each page is an infinite canvas. Bonus: You can store actual files on any pages that you can then later open in the appropiate app using a double click. The desktop version features OCR which is great for searching content in pictures.

Nachteile:

The way the infinite canvas works. You cannot scroll left or up from the top of the page - only right and down. That feels somewhat counterintuitive at times. Also, there should be easy sharing on the page level - as of the writing of this review, you can only share entire notebooks, meaning you give access to it all, even if all you wanted to do was to collaborate on a single page.

OneNote: a great foundation for collaboration

Kommentare: OneNote has become central to our documentation at our organization. Especially after the integration between OneNote and Office 365 Groups and then Teams, the addition of the Collaboration Space and Documentation Library has helped us create central repositories that can be worked on simultaneously and frequently. Administration can collaborate and share materials and use the private spaces for groups members to take their own notes or have individual content distributed to them to work on or reflect upon.
I love this product and since growing with it in my career have also expanded to use it in my personal life for notetaking, organization, and planning.

Vorteile:

The notebook structure was very appealing to me when I first started using OneNote. Once I unbound myself from the concept of creating everything to translate to a printed letter size piece of paper it really took off. You can create your notebook and its contents to directly translate to what if it had to be printed. But you can also transform it to a fully interactive collection. With links to various other locations in the same notebook, other locations and materials on the internet, and even embedding videos and other documents directly in the pages of the notebook you can make the reach of the content presented to extend beyond the boundries of the document itself.

Nachteile:

The different versions - When OneNote transitioned to the web, it was during the focus on the Metro UI in Windows 8 and it suffered for it. The simplicity of what the web version could do was crippled by the ability of the internet browsers at the time. Over time it has increased in parity between the desktop version and the web, however - the Metro UI designed app has lingered and its design has stayed truer to the web version than the original desktop version. It is getting harder to find the desktop version that has content central and navigation to the left, top, and right sides. The web, mobile app, and "for windows 10" versions make navigation subjectively more complex when you have extensively robust notebooks.

Digital notebook

Kommentare: It is good. When you have a product that does what promise to do, you cannot be unhappy. The product is also flexible. Different from other products, it enables efficient collaboration: you can easily share notes to your colleagues and maintain always the historical data.

Vorteile:

The facility to take notes and share with other people is the selling point of the product. If you need a tool for doing that, OneNote is the right one. You can also organize simply your notes, write documents and add pictures/external content (the possibility to add media is another important feature to consider in the product). You can divide your notes/documents in sections/pages, this helps on searching for what you need. For example, you can have an entire section dedicated to a specific customer, in this section having the notes organized by date.

Nachteile:

There are no particular pain points. I heard some complaints about the navigation but it follows the standard of other Microsoft products. I would only improve the search feature, in particular from a look and feel perspective.

Microsoft OneNote Review

Vorteile:

Great for taking notes, especially in a work environment. If it is integrated to your Microsoft Outlook email it is easy to transfer over meetings and notes between the two. You can also flag tasks that you need to follow up on in OneNote and then that will transfer to your To Do list in your Microsoft Outlook. You can easily search your notes using a few keywords and you can tag your notes and search them that way. The way you can breakout your notebooks into sections and those sections into pages really makes organizing your notes easy. You can also create templates that let you easily format your pages. Overall this is my go to note taking app both for personal use and work use.

Nachteile:

You need to buy the whole Microsoft office to use OneNote to it's full potential.

Easy to use Microsoft OneNote

Kommentare: When I transfer my note-taking data to Microsoft Word or Outlook, either it's a miss or a hit. Sometimes it is the services area where the bad connection may work adequately. This will cause frustration, but overall, I still use it every day because it became my friend most time when I need to jot down and don't have paper and pen ready. This app will always be ready when I need to use.

Vorteile:

OneNote beats Evernote in numerous ways, on account of its wide exhibit of highlights, including optical person acknowledgment (OCR), sound and video accounts, ink-to-message transformation, and directing. Not my favorite for note compilation

Kommentare: I used it for managing email templates, project notes, and the like. I didn't like having to sync with my other devices and having things be changed in two places = sync issues.

Vorteile:

it comes with office 365, so I used it...as it was already on all the computers I had. I didn't have to install another piece of software or pay for another subscription.

Nachteile:

Your data is stored in a clunky "onenotes" notebook file -- and it is (or was?) difficuly to sync to other devices

Great for meeting minutes and action items

Kommentare: It is reliable, easy to use and share, and is a favorite collaboration tool among employees.

Vorteile:

It was easy to use and for employees to collaborate with. It is great to organize meeting notes and to-do tasks/action items. Especially since you can make multiple tabs and subpages.

Nachteile:

It was a little clunky when trying to move OneNote files from one location to another, especially with OneNote files stored in Microsoft SharePoint. We had issues a view times with issues merging changes when many people were editing at once and ended up with lost pages in the document. Also there is no way to recover just a single page if deleted.

Incredible application for note and document management.

Kommentare: For online task management or taking notes on business meetings, this is very intuitive and useful. It actually saved some time in arranging the meeting notes. Arranging and compiling clients data has become more convenient after using this application.

Vorteile:

This software came with Microsoft 365 subscription. The features are very convenient to deal with. Taking any notes online is just a work of few seconds. The added task can be managed and the notes can be separated at ease. There is option for distinguishing the notes in arranging by sub order.Also, different types of annotation in different color can be added in files. The OCR is also a great addition to OneNote. The cloud backup is secured and saves a lot of time.

Nachteile:

Sometimes,while taking notes in online meetings,it lags a bit. In working with bigger files,the pen sometimes do not change even after clicking.

Worklife organization = peace of mind

Kommentare: Migrated from Evernote a few years ago and never looked back. Keeps my work life organized and in sync across all my devices!

Vorteile:

It's free and offers all the tools to keep your work life organized. I use it daily to organize my tasks (great and easy to use ToDo list features!), to keep and organize notes from meetings and to write memos or analysis of tasks I perform. The Notebook>Tabs>Notes organization is simple and effective.

Nachteile:

The notebook>tabs>notes interface could be rethinked. As it is, it is functional, no doubt, but I can help feeling that some other views of this greater organization of your notes could be improved. It would also be great if double clicking to tray icon opened the app instead of the quick note shortcut (it can be changed in the options thou). Small grievances.

OneNote, a multipurpose 21st Century Tool for Lifelong Learners

Kommentare: I plan my classes and curate content. OneNote has helped me shape the way I organize and manage my classes and curate content as a participant, presenter and author. I can search content in all my notebooks in a very short time, create portfolios of learning progress over years, move, copy, archive and delete sections or pages. Digital ink, lasso conversion, linked notes, degrees of privacy, audio and video recordings, printouts, symbols, emoji, stickers, equations, drawing, dictionary tools with Thesaurus, immersive reader with speed and voice control, identification of main parts of speech, reading line focus, visual vocabulary input and image to text conversion are some of the most valuable features allowing the promotion , development and assessment of main 21st Century hard and soft skills in PBL ( Project Based Learning) , Remote Learning and Home Office Work. The Send to OneNote feature in different formats makes it unique since users can annotate their bookmarks and enhance them with extra content . App smashing through OneNote it effective since it allows multiple integrations with LMS, platforms like Buncee ,Wakelet, Office apps, Flipgrid, Genially, Whiteboard.chat, Kahoot, Quizlet, Sketchfab, PhET interactive simulations, Adobe Spark, EdPuzzle, Playposit, etc.

Vorteile:

I like everything. It helps me organize content, plan, deliver & assess learning paths, keep records of multimedia resources supporting learning beyond school walls through assistive technology, data management with support and feedback to allow student voice, choice and agency as well as autonomous learning.

Nachteile:

I only dislike the fact that I did not use it as a student. I wish I had had such a powerful learning app at school. It is permanently adding new features to make learning accessible, memorable and enjoyable not only for students but for PD , content curation and regular use at home.
